DC Concealed Carry is a 16 hour course, with a 2 hour range requirement. It is the required course for DC residents and non-residents that desire to carry a firearm in DC. This course will cover all of the requirements in order efor an individual to apply to the Metropolitan Police Department to be approved to carry a firearm concealed. Students must bring an unexpired government photo, their own firearm, .380 or above, holder, and 100 rounds of ammunition. Not included is the DC application Fee of $75.00, the DC fingerprint fee of $35.00. Students will receive a certificate of completion from a DC certified instructor, a DC concealed carry application, and the knowledge to complete the application. Cost is $285.00. DC Refresher Course is a 6-8 hour bi-annual renewal class. This includes the 2 hour of range time as required by DC law. Students are required to attend the entire class in order to receive their certificate. The student is also required to provide their own firearm, .380 or above, holster, and 100 rounds of ammunition. Students successfully completing this course will receive their course certificate as well as the renewal application. Cost is $125.00. Can be addded to the MD Wear & Carry refresher for $75.00.
