Basic Pistol Class
This class will teach the student the different types of pistols, revolvers, semi-automatic, single, action v. double action, teach the student how to load and unload each pistol, and how to disassemble your gun for cleaning. The student MUST furnish their own gun. $100.00 for this four hour class. Scroll to the specific amount pay section in our online shop to pay your fee in order to reserve your seat.
Maryland Wear & Carry, HQL & West Virginia Concealed Carry

Personal Protection in the Home
This course teaches the students the basic knowledge, and skills that are necessary to utilize a handgun for the protection of self and ones family. It’s also has a legal component that is taught by a West Virginia Lawyer. This class is 8-hours in duration and requires a pre-class equipment check. The cost is $150.00 and requires a deposit and four students for the class. Call the office to inquire.
Refuse to be a Victim
This is a non-shooting class and is also not a self-defense class. It is a training class that will enable an individual to improve their personal safety steps in order to lessen your likelihood of becoming a crime victim. It also provides an individual with relevant information that you can apply in your everyday life. The cost is $35.00 per person and must be paid in full. Lastly, the class requires four students.
Virginia/West Virginia Concealed Carry Class
This class meets the requirements to apply for your Virginia or West Virginia concealed carry permit. We provide all of the necessary equipment for the class. The West Virginia permit is honored in 40 states. It also qualifies the West Virginia resident for a tax credit on their West Virginia taxes. The class is approximately 5 hours and only costs $100.00. This fee includes the notarization for the permit application. Pay the deposit of $40.00 or entire class fee at the payment section to secure a seat in the class.
Maryland HQL Class
This class meets the requirements for a Maryland resident to purchase, rent, or receive a handgun in Maryland. This is in accordance with the Firearms Safety Act of 2013. The cost is $85.00 and DOES NOT include the required live scan fingerprints. This class requires a $40.00 deposit to secure your seat in this class and the price includes applicable range fees. Maryland Wear & Carry Class
This class meets the requirements for an applicant to apply for a Maryland Wear and Carry permit which is a requirement according to the Firearms Safety Act of 2013, before anyone can legally carry a handgun in the State of Maryland. This class is 16-hours in length as required by Maryland law. The cost is $285.00 and DOES NOT include the required live scan fingerprints or digitized photo. A deposit of $40.00 or payment in full is required to secure your seat in this class, and the price includes applicable range fees. Maryland Wear & Carry Refresher Class
This class meets the requirements for individuals to renew their Maryland Wear & Carry permit according to the Firearms Safety Act of 2013. This class is 8 hours in length & costs $125.00 A minimum deposit of $40.00 or full payment is required to secure your seat in the class, and the price includes applicable range fees. Private Lessons
Here at Tri-State Training, LLC we offer a variety of private lessons that includes pistol, rifle, and shotgun. These courses enable the student to work with the instructor in a one-on-one environment in order to improve on their marksmanship or gun safety techniques. These classes are $100.00 per hour and the student is required to provide their own gun, ammo, and all safety equipment. The student is also responsible for all applicable range fees. DC Concealed Carry Training and Refresher Class
A DC Concealed Carry class typically includes the following components:
Firearms Safety, Firearm Mechanics and Operation, Firearm Laws and Regulations, Concealed Carry Laws and Responsibilities, Conflict De-escalation and Avoidance, Defensive Shooting Techniques, Situational Awareness, Live Fire Training and Qualification, and Practical Scenarios:
This class is 16 hours over 2 days with 2 hours range time. Cost is $285.00 not including your DC application, fingerprinting/FBI background check or CCW license. The refresher course is 6-8 hours of classroom time with a cost of $125.00 and does not include the DC license renewal. A $40.00 deposit is required for each class.
